Rumour has it that the Wings, pending league approval, have completed their second trade in as many days. This time it's rumoured that Chris Clark has been dealt to the Canucks for Andrew Ebbett. Like MacMillan aquired yesterday his NHL rights are held by the Anaheim Ducks.

The Canucks had expressed interest in Clark earlier in the season and while a deal was not reached at that time the lines of communication stayed open and after some on again off again discussions a mutually beneficial deal was reached.

With this deal Knuble is suddently promoted to the top line RW spot and is the only notable player on the team playing RW atm with Bertuzzi having been moved to left after the Lehtinen deal. To partially fill the void Hanzal may again be promoted to 2nd line C with Boyes being moved back to RW. Either way the already thin forward corps is looking over stretched.

In other news the Wings are denying all reports they are entertaining offers from several teams about Henrik Lundqvist. "Teams are always asking about players, it's part of the business. It does not mean we are actively looking to trade him, in fact we see him as one of the keystones of this teams future" said GM Niece.

With the phones still ringing in the head office this is not likely the last deal to be completed by the Wings.
