Seems about same level team as Denmark and Latvia maybe bit better overall, but clearly worse than Sui.. Germany maybe little bit ahead of Svk because of theyr top end players.

Are you serious? Slovakia for sure much better than Denmark and Latvia. Still ahead of Sui and Germany too. Slovakia is without any doubt nr 6 in the world with Can, Russia, USA, Finland and Czechia as the top 5.

Yea propably better than Denmark and Latvia dont agree about Germany Drasaitl Stutzle and Seider are much better than Slovakia's best players i think Ger is bit better or atleast evenly matched with Svk and Sui is atleast step abowe Ger and Svk Hischier Josi Meier Fiala+ good depth.. And Sweden is ofc different tier i think Sweden's B team is stronger than Slovakias A team maybe even Swedish C team would be favourite againts Svk A.. I dont know if any Svk players would make Swedish A roster atm?

Germany and Swiss have better top players than Slovakia, but depth and d is why Slovakia is stronger overall.

Swedens B team was stuggling against Slovakias b-team in WC 2017/2018 and Swedens C team got crushed by Slovakias C team in Olympic 2022, so no.

When it comes to Slovaks taking spots in Swedens A-team, if i did a combined roster:

Juraj Slafkovsky - Adam Ruzicka - Tomas Tatar
Jesper Bratt - Elias Pettersson - William Nylander
Gabriel Landeskog - Mika Zibanejad - Filip Forsberg
Pavol Regenda - Michal Kristof - Milos Keleman

Victor Hedman - Erik Karlsson
Martin Fehervary - Erik Cernak
Rasmus Dahlin - Simon Nemec

Jaroslav Halak
Ullmark
Markström

Very close. But small edge to Slovakia because they are actually good in their own zone unlike Sweden.

Yeah okay so you would take many Svk players who are Euro/Ahl level players or cringe NHL players over Swedes who are top top 6 forwards or DMen who play over 20 minutes per night and their salary is between 5-8 millions so high profile NHL players compared to Svk players are like 5-10x less..

Ehlers is the x factor there, he's the best player by far on both rosters and could drag them to some wins

Dano is very underappreciated player by fans because he does things that most people aren't smart enough to notice

Didn’t Slovakia beat Denmark 7-1 just recently at the WC with Ehlers playing and Slovakia missing most of its best players. With ehlers being badly outplayed by he who shall not be named
Denmark had game againts Canada night before and had like 16 hours rest before playing Slovakia(they beat Canada what was quite stupid to use theyr energy in that game )

Slovakia didn't allow any KHL players to participate in last year's World Championship, so I think you could rule out any KHL players also from the Olympics in this hypothetical (i.e. "if Olympics were played this year). But hopefully the world will be in a better situation by 2026.

I find it unlikely Tatar will still be on the first line in 2 years. My guess would be Pospisil as first line RW. Also I think there is likely to be more younger guys, Knazko probably. More 2000 and younger borns on this team. Top 4 defense looks decent but forwards look pretty weak. Hopefully some of the 2004 borns take rapid steps in next 2 years
