Hard to argue against Malkin's pace right now given he's only 4 points out from the lead. 46 points in 27 games in 2018. That's another 25 points in his last 15 if he can keep it up which would put him at 107 in 78. I'd say it's between him and Kucherov with an outside shot for McDavid and MacKinnon.
Well he's 13 points behind with only 14 games left to play. Not only would he need to go on an insane tear he would also need the leading guys to go in a slump. No surprise he's not getting love for this.No love for Crosby?
Voted Malkin cause I thought Kuch was still hurt. Would've voted for Kucherov.
You might be right. But I think it will be really close, which is why I would've voted for Kucherov. The way Malkin's playing right now, I don't think it matters if Kucherov is hurt or not. IMO, only thing stopping Malkin from taking the lead is an injury (which, knowing Malkin's history, is quite possible).
Tampa has an easier schedule than Pittsburgh from now on, so I'll say Kucherov.
I think he has two games on both no?I wouldn't count out McDavid right now. After tonight, he's only 4 points back of Kucherov and tied with Malkin at 84 points. He has a game in hand on both too. McDavid is on fire right now.
I think he has two games on both no?
Next McDavid game is against Flames so that is basically two games in hand...Nah he has a game on both.
