Hard to argue against Malkin's pace right now given he's only 4 points out from the lead. 46 points in 27 games in 2018. That's another 25 points in his last 15 if he can keep it up which would put him at 107 in 78. I'd say it's between him and Kucherov with an outside shot for McDavid and MacKinnon.

Kucherov has 22 points in his last 14 games. So it's not like he's not been very good lately too. I think Kuch either needs to slow down slightly, or Malkin needs to hit another gear yet to pass him.

Mackinnon with 24 in 15. McDavid with 24 in 16. They're not too far off either and both have been hot lately as well.

This will be the first such poll this year where I don't vote Crosby.

I'll vote Kuch. He's just doing an incredible job at maintaining his lead on top - everytime someone gets close he has a big multi point game.

Malkin. It's the last year he'll have a chance to win it. The younger guys are getting too good now.

Ask me next week though, and I'll probably give you a different answer.

Voted Malkin cause I thought Kuch was still hurt. Would've voted for Kucherov.

The way Malkin's playing right now, I don't think it matters if Kucherov is hurt or not. IMO, only thing stopping Malkin from taking the lead is an injury (which, knowing Malkin's history, is quite possible).

You might be right. But I think it will be really close, which is why I would've voted for Kucherov.

Tampa has an easier schedule than Pittsburgh from now on, so I'll say Kucherov.

MacK daddy's got this. He has 73 points in his last 48 games. Which paces out to another 24 points in his remaining 16 games to bring his total up to 104 pts; while Kuch is on pace for 106 & Malkin 107. But MacK has just kept getting hotter & hotter with 17 points in his last 8 games.

He's just 8 back & coming hard :yo:

I wouldn't count out McDavid right now. After tonight, he's only 4 points back of Kucherov and 1 point back of Malkin at 84 points. He has a game in hand on both too. McDavid is on fire right now.

I think he has two games on both no?
