The science of line composition and different player types always fascinated me, obviously you can’t just throw good players on a line and expect perfect results.
That being said, I think the lines that the Avs and Bruins ice are the most well balanced composition of players that bring all sorts of dynamics. (speed, playmaking, puck retrieval, scoring threat).
Without knowing the rest of the team, which line would you choose to win a game tomorrow? And which line going forward?
Landeskog - NateMack - Rantanen
or
Marchand - Bergeron - Pasta
Obviously the Bruins line is battle tested, but I think speed kills and the difference of pace that Mack brings to the game outweighs the defensive prowess that Bergeron and Marchand bring.
What do you guys think? Curious to know.
