I don't know how good the Stastny's were as I wasn't around to watch them play. I know of course Peter is a legend, but was Anton any better than Miroslav Satan or Peter Bondra?

Defenitely Robert Svehla should have been in this poll. The defense would've at least been closer with Visnovsky/Svehla vs Chara/Sekera.

That's of course assuming the idea was to make this poll between Slovakias best players ever, but maybe that wasn't the idea.

Anyway, voted Group 2, even though the combination of Meszaros and Budaj would make things shaky on the back end.

I wonder if Palffy is the most underrated forward ever

ok this article is a bit outdated (McDavid would be high) but in 2014, he was 17th in NHL history for Era-Adjusted Points Per Game

There's Newsy Lalonde and Howie Morenz in front of him that probably shouldn't count too

Mario Lemieux (1984-06) 1.66
Wayne Gretzky (1979-99) 1.61
Sidney Crosby (2005-14) 1.50
Peter Forsberg (1994-11) 1.34
Bobby Orr (1966-79) 1.33
Evgeni Malkin (2006-14) 1.33
Alex Ovechkin (2005-14) 1.29
Jaromir Jagr (1990-14) 1.24
Mike Bossy (1977-87) 1.19
Joe Sakic (1988-09) 1.19
Phil Esposito (1963-81) 1.18
Eric Lindros (1992-07) 1.17
Newsy Lalonde (1917-27) 1.15
Jean Beliveau (1950-71) 1.15
Steven Stamkos (2008-14) 1.14
Howie Morenz (1923-37) 1.13
Ziggy Palffy (1993-06) 1.13
Pavel Bure (1991-03) 1.13

A. Stastny < Gaborik
P. Stastny > Demitra
Palffy =< Hossa

Visnovsky < Chara
Sekera > Meszaros

Halak > Budaj

Looks very close to me. However, head-to-head I would take 2, simply because having Chara and Hossa and their defensive prowess neutralises the main advantage of team one, which is goaltending.
