Top 40, could see him being on the very low end of top 30. Top three player of his generation, health issues or not.
There it is.It's not my fault the main board doesn't know anything about pre 1970s hockey.
There it is.
Why ask the question "all time" and then disregard half of "all time"?
Just curious as to where you have Jean Ratelle and Patrice Bergeron ranked?I have him ranked around the median amongst the HoH posters.
It's not my fault the main board doesn't know anything about pre 1970s hockey.
Edit: I just double checked. HoH had him at 19. That's where I have him excluding McDavid.
I have him at 11th amongst post expansion centres (considering Esposito post and Mikita pre).
I'm also very curious on seeing the actual lists from people who have him in the top 30 and lower than top 60.Just curious as to where you have Jean Ratelle and Patrice Bergeron ranked?
Is this you saying there are only 3 or 4 generations of hockey total? He's probably a top 3 Center for his generation
Really the only player better than him in his early years was Crosby
Won two art Ross's good in the play offs
Probably the best 2nd line Center ever
I'd rank him #10 for all time Centers
OF his generationIs this you saying there are only 3 or 4 generations of hockey total?
OF his generation
if you fail to understand i mean top 3 center of his generation thats your issueTop 3 of his generation, but 10th all time implies there's only 3 or 4 generations ever for hockey

Top 3 of his generation
10th all time
10/3 = 3.33
It implies 3 or 4 generations of hockey if he is 10th all time, but 3rd of his generation.
