I'll predict that the first "winnable" game as against Buffalo, but I'm guessing they'll squeak in a victory a little before then.

Sarcastically voted that we'll never win a game, ever.

Semi-sarcastic belief is that our first win will come when we're not exactly expecting it. If there's anything I've learned in my 25 years (I'm 31 so let's just say that when I was under 6 I hadn't learned yet) of being an Arizona sports fan, is that the local teams have a tendency to win when we're supposed to lose, and then lose when we're supposed to win.

Dallas. Hopefully. But echoing what lady Macbeth said above, it would only make sense that we'd blow out Chicago like 7 to 2 after losing our first 6.

I'll say what I've said from the beginning. I don't care about the wins/losses this year. If we play like we did the first game and finish under .500, I won't be disappointed as long as we're better in game 82 than we were in game 1. What we've seen since that first game is less talented guys in the lineup and the play style has been all over the place. Nobody looks confident in what they're doing. Hopefully it's a lot better by the end of the east coach trip.

I'm all for that to a point. But I'd really rather not end up the worst team in modern NHL history

Only 7 games to go and this team beats Rangers. (Longest Losing Streak to Start the Season)

When will they get their first win? 2017

Jokes aside, I think they'll beat the Islanders.

It's been like watching a movie where everyone dies, and you know it's coming...

As a fan of the NFL Rams regardless of city, so unaffected by their recent move, I now really feel for any hard core St. Louis Ram fans - 11 years of missing the playoffs, then the team leaves. (and the running joke was probably that there wasn't enough of them, either)

Wouldn't it be great if it came against the ****Hawks to shut up their 12,000 fans on Saturday.:thumbu:

Absolutely awesome, however unlikely.

That's where I was at originally, but wanted to be positive vs Dallas last night.

WHOOT WHOOT - Then we can strive for worst overall record for one season!

Worst record in the NHL this season and we'll draft fifth in June. Missing out on the top four picks.
It's a great year to draft top five, even at the tail end. Dahlin, Svechnikov, Tkachuk, Zadina, or Boqvist would be very nice pickups. I could see any of them playing for us next season.

Great. Add one of those to the list of current under-performing prospects in the system:

Strome, Duclair, Perlini, Fisher, Dvorak, Crouse...

Crouse is not underperforming. Still can't hit the broad side of a barn from over 6 feet away though.

NJ game is the back-end of a B2B for the Devils. Oct 28 @ Jersey is as good a guess as any.....
