This is Summit's best sampler pack by far.

3 of each:
EPA
IPA
Red Ale
Winter Ale

I'm hoping Summit will at least make a seasonal out of this:

I know. That became the only beer i drank while it was out. If they don't bring it back I will personally punch everyone in their marketing department in the stomach.

Bought a sampler pack last time I was in Wisconsin. Had some New Glarus, and other random beers. I'll post each time I sample a new one.

Maybe we can do mini-reviews each time we try a new beer?

This is probably going to sound bad as a Minnesotan, but I'm not a huge fan of Summit...

Now go ahead and blast me. Got to get some sleep so I'll read in the morning. ;)

Grant Teton Brewing has a bunch of really great beer...Pick up a sampler--you won't be disappointed.

Favorite (overall) breweries?

Surly
Bells

Grand Teton
New Belgium
Summit (back in my good graces with Red Horizon and the Unchained series)

more or less Macro brewed I really like some of Sam Adams offerings.

Surly is my homeboy. Bells is good, Goose Island is amazing but also a big Yuengling fan. Wish I could get it here.

Surly for sure. Also like Great Lakes, Sierra Nevada, 3 Floyds, Stone, and Deschutes.

You don't find Russian River here, but I think they'd be my favorite if they were available.

Oooo Deschutes I like too!

Yeah Summit is good for what it is but isn't nearly as flavorful as many others when comparing styles.

Bells Hopslam & Rogue Cholocate Stout are 2 of my favorites.

A place.
Anything that isnt the watered down mass market crap they constantly push on TV is usually several times more drinkable.

I havnt had beer in like two years tho. I prefer mixed drinks.

Much like our Surly Abrasive Ale.

Hopefully one of these days I'll run across a 4 pack of that (I love furious).

I found a bottle of Darkness....and wasn't impressed. But then again, I have yet to find an imperial stout that I liked (too boozey tastimg for me). At least I have a cool looking bottle I guess.

I don't know why, but I have developed a liking for Fosters lately. That being said, I don't like lager's much. Too bad that's about the only thing you can buy for a reasonable price.

Fosters is nasty. It's like the Natty Ice of Australia. (that is what one of my girlfriends australian roomates told me, anyway).
