What were you wrong about in 2014? (Current season discussion only)

The scrivens being pulled thread really made me think how wrong I was about Johnny hockey, and got me thinking what else I've been wrong about so far in the 14-15 season, so here are some of notables:

1. Thought gaudreau would be average, he's definitely lived up to the hype and been a nice surprise.

2. I didn't think forsberg or voracek would keep up their paces from early in the season, again nice surprise. Insert Obligatory erat comment here.

3. Didn't think Detroit or San Jose would be in playoff positions.

What have you been wrong about so far this year, what has made you eat some crow?

1. I thought the Leafs' goalies would struggle and that there would be a huge controversy between who is #1 again.

2. I thought the Senators would be a playoff team from the get go.

3. Nashville would have a similar season to last, even with Rinne in net.

4. Phaneuf and Kessel wouldn't perform after receiving big contracts.

5. Aleksander Barkov would have a break out season.

1. Thought Tavares would finally break out. He regressed instead.

2. Though MacKinnon would take his 2014 new years day-and-on pace head on for a full season.

3. Expected San Jose to miss playoffs. A bad streak could still have them out but they look safe so far.

4. Expected regression from Rinne.
