Milwaukee
NHL should expand more into the northern United States...Montana, Wisconsin etc. and a team in Quebec City.

The state of Montana has just over 1 million people, making #44 of the 50 states by population. Milwaukee tried to get a team (mostly the St Louis Blues) in the mid 1990s. They were blocked by the Chicago BlackHawks because Bill Wirtz was a greedy moron and on the expansion committee. It would have been a big geographic rivalry with fans that were able to drive to the other city. The Cubs fans came up to Milwaukee because Wrigley Field was a dump and too small for their fan base with little parking. Some Bulls fans come up for basketball. Even a few busloads of Chicago Wolves fans used to come up for hockey games against the Admirals.

QC would probably be a good spot for an NHL team. Maybe Seattle and/or Portland in the future. Milwaukee is a dead market for the NHL right now. The Bucks owners didn't want the Admirals in their building. They definitely don't want an NHL team. It is kind of like Atlanta and Houston.
