I was listening to Eye's Confederacy of Ruined Lives album on my commute home tonight..

Another band that reminded me of Eye, (basically same genre/era) was Karp (remember them ?). They were out of Washington state, maybe a little more obscure & sludgy.. but they had some good, heavy tracks too.

Yeah they were ok. Melvins and Eyehategod do that sludgy style best though. And Buzzoven were/are pretty sick too.
