I thought I'd make a thread to keep track of the playoff race down the stretch from the deadline. STL and DET are safely in the playoffs and DAL is safely 1st in the Pacific division, 18 points ahead of ANA, SJS and PHX.

Here are the standings with 25 games to go.

Will the Jackets 7-2-1 momentum help them in the 19 games against Detroit, St.Louis and Nashville?
Will the Sharks take advantage 8 times of Phoenix playing without a starter?
Will the Canucks destroy the last little hope of playoffs for Colorado in the 7 head-to-head games or will the 18 games against western playoff rivals be too many do or die games for them?
Will the Ducks playoff dreams fall on a tough schedule down the road with 19 games against teams with a better record?

Disregard that it says Bates B was a healthy scratch and in your third D pairing. Obviously after the Salvador trade (processed after the games yesterday) the sim just stuck him in there. Your lines tonight will fix that. Also don't forget you had two in game injuries against the Flames and so maybe the sim stuck Sutton in as a forward to cover those.

Yea...would have like to have been able to make out my lineup against the team I'm fighting for 1st with :)

Time for an update of the Playoff race. I'll try to update the standings with the recent trends every 5 games or so down the stretch. Phoenix went 1-6-0 since the last update and is now 12 points out, so I think that they are now out of the playoff race.
