They would make a good scf matchup.
The Blues and Knights played 4 straight overtime games from 1/4/2020 to 3/12/2021. By that 4th straight overtime, they had gone to overtime a total of 6 times in 11 games since Vegas joined the league in 2017-18.
In total, the Blues have played 26 games against the Knights and 10 of them have gone to overtime. To give you an idea, since the shootout was implemented in 2005, the Blues have gone to overtime against the Kings 11 times in 68 games, the Flames 11 times in 61 games, the Coyotes 12 times in 71 games, and the Avs 14 times in 82 games.
So at this rate, by next seasons we could potentially end up having played more overtime games against the Knights in just 8 seasons compared to the 20 seasons we've been playing those other Pacific teams.
