Our media is gonna be guilty of this too. Drance was leading the charge that the Preds were the better team last game because they won, I'll be curious to see if he keeps that same energy now.

Zadorov is quickly becoming a fan favorite to all Canuck fans. If it came down to him or Hronek I would probably pick Zadorov everytime.

As much as i want Podkolzin to get into a game, i thought PDG had a great game on the PK. He is without a shadow of a doubt a PK leader for this team. Dont take him out Coach Tocchet, i never thought Id say that!

His play to win the battle and get the puck out gets him back in the lineup. Especially in a game where many players were failing at it.

The video session gonna look brutal if they go over all the turnovers and failed clearing attempts.

All that pressure the last few mins was Hroneks fault. None of it needed to happen we were up by two, play it safe. Not what you expect from the "2nd best" dman on the team.

And how about DeSmith?

DeSmith was fantastic for most of the season until he had to take over as the starter, and even then, he was mostly just average other than the Minnesota meltdown.

Also out of the forwards I have been impressed with Boeser and Lindholm the most. Both have really brought it in together. Really happy to see them perform so good given the amount of criticism both got from the fanbase before the round even started.

Whistles get put away once we hit game 5 and later anyway so maybe just for next game. Preds took even dumber penalties than the Canucks did.

I have the distinct feeling the Canucks are going to win this round and look bad doing it. The real playoffs will start in round 2.

One thing is for sure, I'm glad Allvin put contract talks on hold for now. These playoffs are exposing some players (Hronek lol 8m f*** outta here), and making a strong case to re-sign others (Zadorov and Joshua are musts).
