Idk about that. LA was primed to play that boring ass 1-3-1 against Edmonton. Vegas' defense has really struggled until tonight. I think if they had to deal with a more relentless offense they'd be exposed a lot more. Having more room and time to work on their defense is what Vegas needed. I never thought Dallas was going to be some cakewalk, but I preferred them over Edmonton.

I think that's a kind of disingenuous way of looking at it. It's been a constant juggling effort, more than just key players going out all at once. The injuries lined up very well for them.


They're a good team and they play solid playoff hockey that is just very hard to beat there. But i think it's still a very questionable look for the league. Just shorten the regular season massively if most of it is not going to be important at all.

I personally just see a really really old roster. I am not impressed so much with their lineup vs their system but its hard to argue there is next to zero young talent on that team which is rare for a team that good

Honestly, I have no idea why Dallas struggles to get up for playoff games. This transcends Deboer.

Could be issues with the core, but you can't really argue against DeBoer's track record. He's had some extended runs, sure, but he's a coach that always seems to struggle to get his team to make necessary adjustments in the postseason.
