I mean I'm just confused. Anytime a player is digging in after the whistle and uck is covered causes a scrum? It's super standard in the playoffs so I'm confused why you're not understanding the play.

My point was he was already neutralized well before he got the glove on the face and yanked him to the ice. I understand how scrums happen and why.

Does your team also do the high lob into the neutral zone instead of a controlled breakout with a lead? Bruins did that with him at the helm a bunch and it always drove me nuts.
Yeah, it's in the playbook and we see it occasionally, but it seems that Vegas has enough quality centers who are able to make a controlled zone entry instead, thankfully.

CORRECTED: Oh, with a lead. It's just one giant chip-and-change.
