Avalanche are going to realistically need to score 4 goals tonight to have a hope of winning.

If Georgiev only lets in 3 tonight we should consider ourselves lucky.

That's really the way to look at this series in general. To win, the Avs likely have to score 4 or more in 4 of 6 games remaining. Hellebuyck allowed 4+ in 10 games out of 60 this year (11 of 61 if you include game 1).

That video of 4giev talking to the press after the game is brutal. At least own your mistakes.

And his body language right now is the worst I've ever seen from an NHL goalie. Dude is done.
Exactly what I saw too. Totally deflecting. Not even willing to say he needs to play better.

George won't give up a goal until the 14th shot.

(he'll then total 5 given up in 26)

Jokes aside, I actually expect a good game for George. Hopefully it is enough to win, but I don't think he will give up more than 3 and look decent. My worry is more about games 3-5 where inevitably he'll be due for a meltdown.

Why the f*** wasn't Prosvetov up for the 1st game then. Because the f***ing eagles were trying to get home ice? Who gives a f***. The Avs are the parent club and needed a backup who's at least played games this year in the NHL in case George faltered (and he did).

If George gets pulled after 4 or 5 maybe we still win last game.

Can't believe the AHL team took precedence over the NHL team in terms of which goalie got called up.

This is the part I don't understand. A giant f***up from the organization there. Why the f*** was Arvid Holm riding with the squad when Bednar didn't even trust him to relieve George, let alone start a f***ing game (which isn't happening with Prosvetov either)?
