Sorry for the low effort GDT, I’m working very long days in my new job & just haven’t had the time to put the effort into this one that I normally do. Hopefully it will bring good fortune & I can make up for it in Game 3.

Answer on the scoreboard like they did with all the Lucic bs last series. Heading back north tied 1-1 is way more of a statement than whatever temporary retribution Kane or Kassian might get would be.

Didn’t think we could win the physical battle with the Flames and didn’t think we should try to turn it into that. Against the Avs I think we can and should. Have to make them doubt their breakouts and bring the pain.

I hope Smith and Nurse are refocused. Smith will be fine, but that was Nurse's worst game ever, aimlessly roaming out there all game, making the worst decisions repeatedly... It was fugly.

I hope Francouz was scouted in case Kuemper doesn't return from his fragile ego causing bowel movements at the inevitability of spoiling a 3-goal lead injury. Honestly, the Avs have about the same mental composure as the Flames, they just have 2 game-breakers, which Flames don't have, to be able to compensate.

Hyman's goal was exactly like all the Blues' late comeback goals, exploit the hell out of it, seems like a consistent defensive flaw, regardless of goalie.

We actually even scored the first goal of the game, something close to unthinkable. Just avoid post-goal-for traumatic disorder please and the Oilers would be fine.

Play some damn team defense, please. Like game 6/7 of the Kings series and games 2-4 of the Flames series.

Also stop playing scared with the puck in our zone and the neutral zone, make the smart play not the flailing giveway or clear it down the ice play.

Seems to me we can play 80% better at these things and have in the recent past.

It doesn't matter we put 3 behind each in game 1, we don't have a problem putting the puck in the net, r problem is keeping the puck out of ares.....

I've always said, gotta win 1 of the first 2 games. If you can't win them, then it's a Home vs Home Playoff game, which means we lose by default. Gotta show the Road team we can beat them in their arena. Also it bodes well to win just before going home for the next 2 games. Sets up a potential 4 game win streak.
