Glad we got the win, but by god do we have to better.
Easy to say just do better but Dallas came prepared for the VGK forecheck today. Just watched the replay and could see how the Stars got out a lot more often and their passes went to the right spots more often. I don't know what Cassidy has for a counter but its clear PDB knows what is coming and did a better job prepping his team for it.
Still I'm encouraged because this Knights team style travels so well. The depth of having reliable guys on all 4 lines to at least play D is huge when you don't get the change advantage. I still think Koleslaw needs to be benched but obviously no coach is benching guys when the team is winning. He still goes after hits way too often and gets out of position and it really needs to stop. When the Stars got some real sustained time it was usually when the 4th line was out there shooting the equivalent of an airball on the shift and then the 1st line comes out trying to put out a D-zone fire instead of creating chances. And for goodness sakes why must they still do the nonsense of putting the 4th line out there after we score? Go get another one!
