How to destroy a prospect: see our mismanagement of CMM this year. I am not even a huge fan of his (have been open to trading him).

Either:
-Give him top-nine mins in the NHL.
-Top-line mins in the AHL (even though it'd be a 'step back' from last season, but better than limited minutes and sitting)
-Trade him.

You absolutely cannot just consistently sit a top prospect like this and expect them to develop or keep their value.
