He’s out indefinitely now according Bone’s being reported on TSN. That sucks.
Good enough. You are now the official HF Jets team Dr.For sure, enlarged spleen can take weeks to heal up... I think, my doctorate is in Art/History.
And how is this funny?Everyone rightfully concerned about his spleen.
Meanwhile he has a whole other unrelated injury that has kept him out for weeks prior lol
you've never seen lol used for comedic relief? And how is this funny?

Thanks! I never knew that.-itis refers to inflamed, -megaly is for enlarged
For example, hepatitis is a different condition than hepatomegaly
NoCould an enlarged spleen cause pressure on a nerve in the spine?
(Question for our Art History major.)
unfortunately cancer is a frequent cause of enlarged spleen. I hope it is something else. What worries me is that an enlarged spleen can be caused by infections or something worse like cancer.
No, but you certainly could notice an asymptomatic enlarged spleen if you were, say, looking at an MRI of someone's spine (which would classify as an upper body injury that would preclude someone from skating)Could an enlarged spleen cause pressure on a nerve in the spine?

Hopefully this is true...

Came here to say I think that mono was going around the locker room. No good sources, just speculation.I believe Mono is as well, which could explain the extreme malaise working it's way through the Jets the past 4+ weeks.
We'd have had more than 1 player out with an enlarged spleen and mono itself would keep players out more that a game or two. Also it sounded like a stomach bug was going around the room. Norovirus has been running wild this winter out east. Could've brought it back from a road trip.Came here to say I think that mono was going around the locker room. No good sources, just speculation.
Mono isn't caused by airborne viruses. You can't "catch" it by being in the same room as someone. You have to swap bodily fluids, which is why it's called "the kissing disease".Came here to say I think that mono was going around the locker room. No good sources, just speculation.
I never said it was airborne. I figured it would have been from sharing drinks/bottles.Mono isn't caused by airborne viruses. You can't "catch" it by being in the same room as someone. You have to swap bodily fluids, which is why it's called "the kissing disease".
