</p>The 2016 IIHF U18 World Championship came to an end in the quarterfinals for Team Switzerland after they dropped a 9-1 decision to Canada. While the quarterfinal outcome wasn’t pretty, the Swiss live to fight another day at the top level of the U18 tournament as they maintain class for next year’s event that will take place in Magnitogorsk, Russia.

Swiss goaltender Philip Wuthrich (SC Bern – SUI) did what he could to keep things close through the first period and the early portion of the second, but he wore down in the face of Canada’s relentless 45-shot attack.… read more
