</p>A late third period comeback from a 5-3 deficit seemed to have Team Canada in a good position to win their semi-final game against Sweden at the 2016 IIHF U18 World Championship in Grand Forks, ND. But Sweden weathered the storm through overtime, then won the shootout on a goal by Linus Lindstrom.

The win sent Sweden to the gold medal game to face Finland, while Canada was left to battle for the bronze medal with the USA.… read more
