Team USA turned in an impressive preliminary round performance at the 2016 IIHF U18 World Championship, sweeping their four games while posting 30 goals in those games, 11 more than the runner-up in that category, Canada.

The U.S. heads into the quarterfinals on the heels of their 4-0 shutout of Switzerland, a win that has the U.S. facing a Czech Republic squad that could give a better game than might be thought after the Czechs won just one of their preliminary round games.… read more
