Janmark makes a lot of sense the Knights, he's played really well in Chicago. I'm still salty Detroit traded him for Erik Cole, but I'll get over it. Maybe.

At $8.25 mill cap hit, they would require another team to get involved. So, cost another 4th round pick to find a willing 3rd team to retain. His salary is $3 mill this season. So, if Ana retained 50% that means that another team would need to retain only a prorated $750K, which would be around $250-$270K in real money to get that extra draft pick.

How? Hawks got Subban and NHL goalie, yes a backup but still an NHL goalie for the past three seasons, B prospect dman Demin and a 2nd rounder who the Hawks picked goalie Drew Commesso that's a good return.
