Could probably dissect this to death and come away with close to a coin flip. It’ll be a tough series but the Avs are capable of winning it. Just let it go 7 games of attrition between them where they’re battered and broken after (preferably the cheap/dirty players being broken)

I don't look at this from the perspective of which team would be a more favorable matchup. I look at it from the perspective of which one I want to shove my foot into more.

And as such it's a tough call. I gotta go vegas

Vegas should be the tougher matchup. They skate well, they defend well, they bury their chances, and they know what it takes to win. All keys to beating the Avs.

But I don't care. I want revenge for 21'. The Stars can wait for theirs. Bring on the Golden Nighties.

Theodore and Hanifin are the two good skating mobile d-men Vegas has. Pietrangelo used to be that guy but he’s gotten older and slowed down, the rest of Vegas D are just big stay at home not very mobile. If we get Vegas and play the same fast paced game like vs the Jets, I think they will have trouble keeping up.

It doesn’t matter imo - both are tougher draws than Peg, I’m not convinced home ice advantage really matters, and the team is capable of beating anyone in the west so long as they stay the course

I'd prefer Vegas, because I want to see the Avs take them down...but I'm fine with either. Dallas is probably easier.

If Dallas keeps having goalie issues...they could be an easy 4-5 game series.
