Who do you prefer between these two kids? Who should have the best career?
Tomas Vanek, and it's not even close
Vanek..... But I've seen Lupul play once this year... So take it for what it's worth....
Vanek by a longshot.
I appear to be in the minority, but look at above my avatar. Lupul will be like Brendan Shanahan to a lesser degree. Vanek will be a very good player and I hope he does but I think Lupul is more of a sniper. JMO.
A couple months ago I would've said Vanek, but I'm not so sure right now. Vanek's doing well in his first year, but Lupul is looking scary in his second. He has been horribly inconsistant, but when he's been hot, he's been dominant. If he finds consistancy, or even just becomes less inconsistant, he's going to be amazing.
I'd still say Vanek will be better at this point, but, it most certainly will not be by a longshot.
Based on everything to date, Vanek. However, should Lupul get over being so inconsistent...
