Added - Borna Rendulic

Coming off another tight one. I had to add crobro's boy - he's been pulling for him for soooo long. The next 5 adds are Carcone, Neill, Jasek, LaBate and LaPlante.

Zalewski will likely be playing NHL games this year. Hard to be confident about that happening at any time, ever, for anyone else on the list.

Rather sad to think we're at that point 12 prospects in. Hope one of these kids unexpectedly breaks through in a major way similar to Hutton last year.

Zalewski is pretty much equivelent to Gaunce. they will each top out as 4th liners.
not sure how Gaunce can swing in as our 6th best but Zalewski wont even crack 12th. I guess its because Gaunce is a 1st round draft pick.. where as Zalewski was a free asset.

I voted Olson, but forgot about Cassels. but really at this point after the big 4 it's a complete toss up

Gaunce just finished with 38 points this season in the AHL with only 46 games played
Zaweleski has 45 points in his entire AHL career of 113 games

This is why people feel he is a better prospect then Zaweleski. Who is 24 at the start of next season.

No knock on Zaweleski he's a excellent player. But there really is much more of a NHL future for Gaunce who is 22 years old and will probably be a full time NHLer by the end of this season.

Lockwood here. Could've gone with him earlier as well even.

Trying not to be too harsh on Cassels...but man, what a disappointing year, and guys with those kind of skating deficiencies and having that kind of trouble adjusting...doesn't bode well at all. Hopefully with a proper summer to prepare, he can actually show something this year, but until that happens...eek.

Went with Stukel cuz he's probably the best pure goal scorer left on the board. Really though there's 4 or 5 options that are coin flips at this point.

I like Zalewski a lot, but he's still a couple years older than Gaunce, put up worse numbers, and has a poorer pedigree.

Zalewski is more of your regular 'motor' guy, whereas Gaunce is more cerebral. That, combined with his younger age says to me that there's likely more room for growth with Gaunce than Zalewski.
