Benning better re-sign him them. If he loses him for nothing that's yet another black mark against him.

Oh he'll resign him alright.

Take Miller of this team and we're neck-a-neck with Colorado right now.

They need Miller to trick people into thinking this team isn't just an AHL squad that the league hasn't noticed yet.

I'm beginning to believe even the players are becoming depressed at how they play in third periods...did you see Miller's reaction when the tying goal went in?.....Edler backs in and deflects in the tying goal (later wiped out by a whisker on the offside); Tanev can't handle a puck along the wall, and then lets the guy who stripped him, walk right to the net; and Henrik, with nobody near him, is so gassed he flips the puck over the glass and takes a penalty.

Lol....yet Willie will go to his coaching grave convinced that his veterans give him the best chance to win in third periods.

On a side note

Brent Seabrook SUCKS. That contract is an anchor for chicago

$6.9 million for the next 7 years :laugh:

Dude has terrible possession, and is probably one of the worst shot suppression d-men in the NHL.

Thank god something is slowing chicago down like that

It was bad when it was signed. I guess if they can get another cup it won't matter so much.

Miller let in 4 in regulation, he did his job for the tank. The odds of this team scoring more than that while putting up 15 shots......We got Crawforded.

Nope. I know you've said that this team has been rebuilding since Day 1 under Benning, and that Brandon Sutter is a good player, but you were wrong.

WRONG?!!

MOI!!!

Not bloody likely...

I can remember when you said Sedins would never cut it as top-6 players.

You said I was "wrong" in predicting they would eventually be point-per-gamers.

You said Nonis was incompetent for giving them $3.6M each X 3.

You said Gillis was incompetent for eventually giving them $6.1M X 5.

Now you claim Benning is incompetent.

Well at least this time you have folks around you who agree with you, in fact...

This place has become a madhouse!

"Canuck fans" actively cheering against Canucks in a GDT!!

Something... is "wrong".

Canuck fans are supposed to hate the Hawks forever (just like Burrows).

Canucks stole a win in the Windy City, be happy.

I have always found your lack of faith in our GMs disturbing...

It's worse when you look at the goal scorers. Literally, nothing feels good about this. Like Horvat couldn't even get a point or 2. At least give us that.

Maybe not for you, but I'm still happy to see the Sedins score. And Boucher is still a youngster to me, want to see him to do well.

Just needed one less Sutter goal lol.

I can't imagine being this happy after a win in a meaningless game where your old timers or waiver/exposure guys scored ...

Good news is literally every other team around us won as well. So it's essentially a zero net effect night.
