I doubt I never noticed it before, but Satisfactory makes the fans on my graphics card do weird shit.

While it stays beneath 60C, the main fan will randomly and audibly drop a bunch of speed every few seconds.

Out of game, I can force the fan to 100% and the speed is consistent.

Open the game up, just sitting on the main menu and it starts happening. The fan tachometer averages around 3200, and it's either dropping to 2400 or somehow spiking to 6000.

Maybe it's the temp, so I tried Wreckfest, but couldn't get the temp to rise, lirl. Couldn't get the temp up with Cities Skyline either, what the hell, the main menu of Satisfactory was bringing it to nearly 50C.

Turn on Vsync, problems go away.

Go f***ing figure, I usually turn that off out of habit.

Seems redundant for such a troubled game, but maybe they shouldn't remove/change the few things that people actually like.

Baby steps. It may not "look like" classic jamble-laya but at least it looks somewhat yummy. A long way from whatever that mess was that he called "chilli" last week! And he actually used fresh veggies this time, including cutting onions, which he survived. If these efforts keep him from a diet of 4 sammies, fried chicken and globs of ice cream then I am all-in!
