Except golf blows because of the extreme lack of cadio activity.
I dunno, if you skip the cart and then play 18 holes, it's a pretty nice workout, especially in the summer.
Except golf blows because of the extreme lack of cadio activity.
Good luck!I can catch you on the ice with ease. Part of the reason is I walk 12,000 steps with elevations playing golf daily!!!
Tampa is a great example, particularly if you've lived there. I think the best example is Las Vegas, also a desert city of mostly transplants, with half of the Valley's population. Man, what could it possibly be that makes Vegas so much better of a hockey market?
Tampa, Vegas, Dallas, San JoseIIRC Vegas was getting the same avalanche of crap we have taken over the years, right up until a few things happened: a) the arena was built right on the strip; b) the team went to the Cup final in its first year; and c) the NHL and NHLPA institutionally went ape over it after all the players got a chance to visit and blow huge amounts of money in the casinos and at the shows (and, I'd also guess, at the "houses of ill repute," but don't quote me on that ).
But Vegas has also gotten a pass because their ownership puts on a frickin' show at every game, just like Nashville started doing a few years ago. That makes inroads with the skeptics for sure (remember before the "Smashville" days, how the Preds were always a relocationista target? You don't see that now...). Hopefully, when the Mutts get to Tempe, they'll rethink the yawn-fests that they put on in GRA and figure out some way of making the game environment more entertaining for the fans.
What a two bit farce interview. Guy thought Gila River had 27k seats. Proves this idiot has never stepped foot inside GRA. Calling Xavier CEO of the Cardinals as well.
The Golden Knights were the first professional sports team in the city. It's the first time anybody there could call a team their home town team.Tampa is a great example, particularly if you've lived there. The facile points that are made are astounding.
Try hitting a ball and wanting it to go where you want, in direction and length is a hell of a lot harder.Hitting a baseball is harder because someone is trying to make you miss.
So you were a ticket agent. When I mentioned I used to work in Glendale, take a guess where.. I have seen the numbers for myself.
Gila River would've worked if Glendale didn't destroy the lease, and only in that scenario to make up for the disadvantageous location for the organization.

e.g. A drum line that is literally "lit"But Vegas has also gotten a pass because their ownership puts on a frickin' show at every game,

Hmmm, how to incorporate a native American or Latino feel without coming across as cheesy or, worse, racist...Hopefully, when the Mutts get to Tempe, they'll rethink the yawn-fests that they put on in GRA and figure out some way of making the game environment more entertaining for the fans.

Also, there's so much year-round tourism that surely any seats not purchased by season ticket holders get easily gobbled up by people coming into town for a Vegas vacation when their team is playing in Vegas.
No, but those folks definitely have the same data to review. So you were a ticket agent.
How is it Buzzkill? They both act like two year old kids.So he misread a 1 for a 2 on his notes. He actually said 17k initially.
No need to play Captain Buzzkill all the time here.

Pretty much agree with this. The entertainment should be in the ice.e.g. A drum line that is literally "lit"

I suspect you have no idea exactly what demographics the Coyotes used for their evaluation. Anyone can pull demographics, but only an experienced eye knows what to look for and what to include in such demographics. No, but those folks definitely have the same data to review.
Maybe the distraction was their goal.Pretty much agree with this. The entertainment should be in the ice.
We had some drum line two of the last three games, I guess it was okay, aside from the distraction.

I prefer hearing skates cutting through the ice, the sound of sticks and pucks, the boards rattling. An arena with me and me alone as the sole spectator. You prefer the banditos cheering section from Phoenix Rising come back instead?
I hear GRA will have ice rental openings starting in the near future.I prefer hearing skates cutting through the ice, the sound of sticks and pucks, the boards rattling. An arena with me and me alone as the sole spectator.

I’m in marketing and have lived all four corners of the valley. I love how you’re working so hard on this narrative that location doesn’t matter. Keep it up. It’s hilariousI suspect you have no idea exactly what demographics the Coyotes used for their evaluation.
