The real story is Cody Brundage being on the main card of UFC 300
I'm surprised it's on the main card over...

Light Heavyweight bout: Jiri Prochazka vs. Aleksandar Rakic
Featherweight bout: Calvin Kattar vs. Aljamain Sterling
Women's Bantamweight bout: Holly Holm vs. Kayla Harrison

I guess they're really trying to showcase Bo...

I think they for some reason think that wrestling fans will buy the PPV if they do, but I really don’t know how many sales that translates to. Probably not as much as they think.

I do wonder if PPV sales will crater to a point where ESPN starts to become unhappy. I think the fact that there was no price hike this year shows they might already be

Hell baby
My big boy many unit parlay is

Nickal/Brundage not going distance -1200
Oliveira/Tsarukyan not going distance -280
Jalin Turner by KO -135
Weili ML -485

It doesn’t have the biggest juice at +208 but whatever I like it

Predictions in bold for each fight:

Light Heavyweight Championship bout: Alex Pereira (c) vs. Jamahal Hill (I think Hill is a better all round fighter. But I actually predict he will knockout Pereira)
Women's Strawweight Championship bout: Zhang Weili (c) vs. Yan Xiaonan (Weili has looked so dominant)
Lightweight (BMF) bout: Justin Gaethje vs. Max Holloway (Similar to the Max vs. Dustin fight where the power discrepancy will be too much).
Lightweight bout: Charles Oliveira vs. Arman Tsarukyan (Really tough one to choose. Going for Charles).
Middleweight bout: Bo Nickal vs. Cody Brundage (Bo should win this comfortably. Joke this is on the main card)

PRELIMINARY CARD (ESPN, Sportsnet)

Light Heavyweight bout: Jiri Prochazka vs. Aleksandar Rakic (I think Rakic is a better overall fighter and has been somewhat unlucky in his UFC career)
Featherweight bout: Calvin Kattar vs. Aljamain Sterling (Tough one to call. I think Kattar will just be too big for Sterling to handle)
Women's Bantamweight bout: Holly Holm vs. Kayla Harrison (Not sure about this one either. Holly is very up and down recerntly. She won her last one, so going for her to lose against Kayla.)
Featherweight bout: Sodiq Yusuff vs. Diego Lopes (Can't recall too much about Lopes, but Sodiq normally looks pretty good when I see him fight. He was beating Barboza and as I recall if it had only been 3 rounds, he would have got the victory. So 3 rounds should be good for him here)

EARLY PRELIMINARY CARD (ESPN+, UFC Fight Pass)

Lightweight bout: Jalin Turner vs. Renato Moicano (Turner by knockout)
Women's Strawweight bout: Jessica Andrade vs. Marina Rodriguez (Andrade because she owes me for not becoming champion last year as per my prediction!)
Lightweight bout: Bobby Green vs. Jim Miller (Green will be too much for Miller)
Bantamweight bout: Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Cody Garbrandt (Overall I haven't been that impressed with Cody recently. Going for Fig. Crazy this is opening the prelims!)

Wasn’t sure how Sy moving up 2 weight classes to LHW was going to be but he looks absolutely massive. Hard to believe he fought at 170 5 months ago

Bo is their number one prospect, steamrolling everyone, young, confident exciting, and successfully riding the hype train rn.
And from what I've gathered is very popular with the younger generation.

Jiri, aljo both coming off losses, nobody cares about rakic or kattar and they're coming off losses/injuries too. Holm is like forty something and idk how much draw Kayla has right now before her first ufc fight.

Bo on the main card makes all the sense, Brundage not so much but he's more of a stepping stone than anything else, if things go as planned.

Yeah we get it, you're a fanboy.

They obviously want to give him the spotlight, but don't try to argue he currently deserves to be on the main card over those guys in terms of merit. They're all far higher level fights. Nickal is 2-0 in the UFC and has beaten nobodies, only one of the wins on his record even has a Wikipedia page and this next fight isn't much better. When Alex Pereira got fast tracked, he was at least fighting Strickland in his third UFC fight.

Actually tho, I'm not even a fan of bo, horvat, jackson, bichette yes, nickal no not yet.

Objectively it just makes sense, business wise it makes sense, and merit wise there's an argument too.

For the reasons mentioned as well as plenty of ppl dont love aljo, he won the belt controversially, won a few split decisions and got demolished by the ufc other young star.

Who has jiri beat thats so impressive, then also got demolished by alex.

Bo although he's beaten nobodies, he's winning, and in exciting fashion, just not that surprising Bo nickal is on the main card over those three fights mentioned tbh.

Some interesting odds, I'm surprised Olives and Holm are such big underdogs. But now that I've said that watch them both get finished
