I feel like the SEC won't be prepared for Chip Kelly
or Chip Kelly won't be prepared for the rigors of the SEC
could go either way but likely the latter

Interesting pickup. Kelly's not the worst coach in the world and should be a good hire for the Gators.

He was never going to get a HC job in the NFL again (at least for the time being) at least he's back where he's comfortable in the college game.

All told, the Gators had to pay 5 million to bring in McElwain (3 mil buyout, 2 mil either to play Col State in 2018 or to cancel the game and pay a 2 mil fine)

Now to buy him out it'll be anywhere from 4-13 million.

Quite the expenditure.

Going to be interesting to see Chip go up against Saban in recruiting.

Howie Roseman is a sad panda today.

It's not official and just hearsay. Nobody knows who that blog is. Until someone reputable reports it then we'll see. Things like this can fall apart fast.

If it does happen it would be huge for Florida.

It's wait and see but I tend to believe this will end up being true.

No one in the NFL wants Chip Kelly as a head coach until further notice. While I'm sure he isn't exactly thrilled about returning to college, he needs to reestablish himself. Perhaps finally accepting that college is where he should be.
