Isnt buyout window done? Only when arbitrations happen do teams get another buyout window or is that incorrect? If they waive him and hes unclaimed they dont save much. Maybe bolts end up pulling a quick one and they agree to a mutual termination

This is my thought. Some GM - team TJ did not give green light to - will pick up, and then perhaps trade between TB and that team to sort out value.

They can just keep him in the NHL if he clears waivers. Wouldn't make sense to demote him to the AHL.
