I'd take a look at Bear since Edmonton seems to be dead set on trading him.

VGK will get Eichel because they somehow manage to get every big name they want.

I'd put a run in at Tarasenko. Despite the injuries, I think the guy will have a lot left in the tank. Not a typical "star" player that stays out of the dirty areas. He can bring it.

Since Barrie will be back and they need to make room for Bouchard, that makes sense. Bear looks good, even if he isn't quite what Montreal needs.

I think something around Lehkonen for Bear makes sense for both sides.

Everyone backing out and you can connect the dots. Nobody is giving a Suzuki or Caufield type piece. Those of you think we have too are not understanding the current market and the injury/cap hit on Eichel. You might only get him for 4 years at $10M AAV and have to give up 4 young very good pieces that are cap savings for well beyond 4 years.

I feel this is a great offer by the Habs...
* Romanov or Kotkaniemi
* Guhle or Poehling
* 2022 1st (with top 3 lottery protection). * With Conditions (See below)
* Cap contract (Drouin or Byron)
* Primeau as the sweetener

Conditions:
* 2022 1st changes to 2023 1st if Eichel don't play 40 games next year.
* 2023 changes to a 2nd round pick if Eichel don't play 40 games in 22/23.
