Didn't Dansk just sign somewhere? I could've sworn I saw he signed with someone like Calgary

Its nice when you see prospects improve every year until graduating like Bjorky, Andy, Elvis, Vlad and Tex. And sure, its obvious we fans have a big recency bias.

Looking forward to seeing which guys on this year's list will start 12+ like Bkorky did but steadily make their way up the rankings. Wonder who in the top seven drops and never carves out a legit NHL career.

He had that one magical season in Erie but he was just the beneficiary of backstopping such a loaded team. We fans got caught up in the draft status and numbers but it seems he was never a serious candidate to be an NHL goalie.

Dansk signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Flames on Wednesday.

Dansk spent last season with KHL Spartak Moscow. He had a 2.66 GAA and a .910 save percentage in 17 games there, but he'll try another stint in North America, where he'll likely be a mentor to Dustin Wolf with the Flames' minor-league affiliate.

I thought so. Not that he'll make much noise but still.
