One of these days I hope Mikheyev has a dam bursting flood of goals. He works so hard, gets himself in A1 positions to score but is bitten by hot goaltending, split second off timing and bad luck. He should be around 6-8 goals by now if he had any luck at all.

This Oilers team is ripe to give away chances to speedy players like him. Maybe this series will be his welcome back party.

Every game I see him putting the work in, he's getting the chances, often created by himself too. It is going to happen for him, have no concerns around him at all.

He’s actually a pretty impactful player I just don’t understand how he seemingly cannot score. He literally creates things from nothing and gets himself space.
