Soshnikov is a good player. Definitely an NHL'er. His advanced metrics point to him being a really good penalty killer. Unfortunately he has major injury concerns that go with the style of play he plays. A worrying concussion history. Good shot and skating, not a great passer and not very creative. If he can stay healthy this is a good pickup for the Blues.

more got squeezed out when he was injured than couldn't establish himself, we expected him to be on the NHL roster coming in fwiw. He looks like an NHL'er, maybe an injury prone one
