I kinda like Bush as a cheap, rugged third pairing guy. Not sure why the Coyotes would want Ritchie back unless real assets or picks are also coming.

I hardly watch West coast teams. Quick scouting report on this cat?
Sucks the Leafs are tied to him, my Devils are very thin at RHD ( or could once Subban is gone after this season and Severson is up in another year and not sure what he will do )
Is he good defensively? We could use a defensively stable guy.( or 12 )

Big, strong no frills defender. Really strong defensively on a bad team. Cheap contract. Can and has played top four minutes in Arizona at times but he’ll make some contenders third pairing much more stout for the playoffs.

The Coyotes should definitely be able to get some solid picks back for him especially if they are taking on a cap dump in return. There’s definitely a market for a guy like Bush. If the price for the likes of Chiarot and Manson and Soucy get too high I see him as a really under the radar back up option for a lot of clubs.

Sounds exactly like what the leafs need. Ritchie and a mid round pick in return?

If the Oilers move Barrie (probably in a separate deal) this sounds like something Holland should be interested in.

Edit: A third pair of Niemelainen and Lyubushkin would be a nightmare for opposing forwards.

You guys think it’s only contenders that are in in him ? My Devils are very thin at RHD and he appears to play a style we need big time. Once Subban is gone , we literally have two NHL capable RHD for now. Here’s hoping Fitz is looking into this but I imagine he is not too pumped about getting into a bidding battle with teams looking to make a push for the playoffs. He has from now until next year to find a guy like this but ??

Edit- I didn’t know he was 27 years old. Not really a perfect long term add for the Devils. Sounds perfect for playoff depth though
