Top six scoring winger? Means? Scoring winger in the team?
Top 6 scoring winger means a winger on one of the first 2 lines, traditionally referred to as the "scoring lines".
So a first or second-line offensive winger.
That would be the common use of the term. More and more players are being rated by how much ice time they get. So if you are the centre on your team that plays the second most minutes per game then, by this definition, you are the second line centre. A definition in transition.
