Vote based NOT on who will have the best season this year, but rather which of these players added to a "vanilla" team would yield the biggest positive result. Poll will be open for 48 hours before moving on the next poll.

Criteria for inclusion: Doesn't have to be born in Quebec, but must have spent the majority of their childhood in Quebec.

On this list, Danault is the biggest upgrade a team could ask for.

I believe he was Kings MVP a year ago?

It's Danault or JAM.

And Sam Montembault probably should be up for vote.

And Sam Montembault probably should be up for vote. He can safely replace Matheson.

Wow, no offense but that's not a very strong list. In years past it would include multiple top players but man Quebec hockey has regressed it seems. Wonder why (honestly curious)

Kris Letang is still a #1D. I don't see how this isn't him. I'm not sure anybody else on this list is a #1 Anything.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the list. No disrespect to those guys. Being an Nhl player means you are good. But its not exactly a star studded cast

Danault. 2C, takes on your toughest deployment, yet still scores at an ok clip.

Marchessault is a scoring line winger. He's good but I think Danault adds a little more and scores almost as much. Not sure I think Marchessault is like a "no doubter" 1st line level player who drives play, but he can get you 30g.

Letang if it was 5 years ago or something

Do you really think Letang has dropped off that much in the last ~5 years? I mean, there's been a little bit of drop-off, but certainly not that much. He's still a #1D who handles 24 minutes a night of tough matchups, and does it extremely well.
