But then we should allow for the submitting of Round 1 lists (read, Top-60) during Vote 1 or Vote 2 of Round 2.

Because 13 participants is... well, it works, it's just that there's very little leeway.

Oh, absolutely. I'll take it through Votes 1 and 2 and adjust the aggregate accordingly.

Marty Walsh over Dan Bain??

No Lester Patrick, Jack Marshall, or Jack Darragh?

Norm Ullman over Dave Keon?

Bobby Hull, really? Well, ok...

No Yvan Cournoyer, Serge Savard, Jacques Lemaire, or Bob Gainey? Not a Habs fan I guess...

No mention of Glenn Anderson, wow!

No Niedermayer, Pronger, or Chelios? At least one of them, I should think, if not 2!

And the most egregious of all, no Toews!!! The hatred for this guy here is beyond reproach! :)

To be honest, he named 60, and there's no room for every player you named IF you keep the list at 60.

There are some misses I disagree with, but they're on the level of JC Tremblay/Charlie Gardiner/Serge Savard/Frank Foyston (or, healthy disagreement). In fact, my biggest issues are probably Eddie Shore and Bill Durnan, who are both (especially the latter) better kept a few miles away from the list.

He named more than 60. 70 or so.

Not sure if it's a list or just some idea of per era candidates

Mine is mostly O6 and sooner players too...I think the format of the playoffs rightfully (?) biases the list in that direction to a degree...I don't have none (pre-war), but I don't have a lot...

Get him a list ^

No, I didn't officially submit a list. My knowledge of pre-O6 era players is shallow, which would have inherently biased a list toward more modern players.

You should submit a list, just in the post where you listed many players it's obvious you know enough to submit a decent one, and then we can have more participants.

Can we assume your avatar is your #1? Because he would be mine.

I noticed you 'refurbished' my comment about Ullman over Keon, by quoting me as simply saying "no Keon?" I am in no way saying Keon's a lock for the top 60, let alone 40. But Ullman?

EDIT: I think I edited my post after you responded MXD, so sincere apologies, if so, my bad...

... Pardon?

I'll get on it after work, and I'll have all of tomorrow to make something that's not totally terrible (hopefully).

Awesome. We'll launch with what we have now, and we'll screen and factor your list into the aggregate on the fly. If all goes according to plan, we'll have a top-40 list just in time for the Stanley Cup parade.
