yeah. Then I think its time to consider Fish.

Forsberg is like Josi... ten years from now they will both be top 4, but they aren't done yet.

Also think one of the originals like Dunham or Ronning need to be in the top 10.

Probably, but Suter really hurt his legacy here.

Can we add Arnott?

They are apparently doing a daily countdown on 102.5. Today's entry had Suter at 7th. Willy was doing the voiceover and mentioned his legacy was tarnished with fans here in Nashville because of his exit. I found that to be surprisingly candid for a Top 20 bit.

Ah. I don't listen to 102.5 at all because I can't stand anyone other than their morning show.

Bingo.

They made a huge mistake letting Austin and Zach go, but I do like Braden and Fitz. Their other shows are insufferable.

Off the soapbox now...

This was actually aired during the early morning show (B&F) but was recorded. Willy just happened to be the one reading the VO. They may present it throughout the day. Was the first time I'd heard one, though. I have no real complaints on the station, wish they'd get Sounds baseball back. I can't pick up Alt 97 beyond a mile from work. (Which is doubly sad because I like alternative music, too!)

My problem is I only get 104.5 in my office, so I'm stuck with that for sports radio. I get to work about 6:20 so I only get to catch a few minutes of 102.5 if I even decide to turn it on.

I see recentcy bias but Josi is pretty good. My choice was between Erat (who was more than the guy we traded for Forsberg) and JP Dumont. Dumont is a personal favorite.

I don't remember JP saying that but here's another story that I reference:

Kimmo Timonen re-signed one year at the very last possible minute. Signature had to be on paper by midnight. He was in NYC and there was a blackout. Willy asked him about it and he said it was signed by candlelight and "It vas very romantic" (say this with an accent) and laughed.

Years down the pike anything having to do with candlelight or romance--I'll say it with that accent. Mr. Adz still doesn't get it, despite explanation. His reaction is pretty close to Kimmo's with the next question Willy asked, which was "did you use a quill pen like a founding father?" Blank, "huh?"

I still think Erat, Josi, and Suter should round out the top 10 with Forsberg at #11.

I don't think Suter is in the same tier with Forsberg and Josi when it comes to Pred-careers.

Yeah Suter hurt his legacy here with the way he left but people also tend to overrate him quite abit. I mean even if Josi says bye after this season in a Suter-esque way, he will have had a better NSH career.
Already has twice the goals and more points in less games than Suter. Not to forget a Stanley Cup Final and named Captain.

Kimmo and Legwand are originals.

I'll agree that Ronning should be considered but not Dunham, imho.

Yeah I meant of the remaining players we needed another original. I won't argue Ronning over Dunham but I'd probably vote the other way
