I agree up to a point. If it's an injury that can be targeted by the opposition then it makes sense not to disclose. But if its's a muscle pull etc then just tell us.
I guess with regards to Kuzy and Samsonov they are trying to avoid the media scrum and bad publicity that goes with it.
I'd just as soon keep it all quiet. You can target a muscle pull same as a tender spot, he's the guy you try to beat wide instead of playing it safe, or the one you make stop and start a lot in the corners hoping one of those times will tweak something and give you an edge. Or maybe as a result he's playing passive zone-type defense and just committing to keeping everything outside, and you can work him as a soft spot on the ice.

Don't give them anything, let them figure it out. Tell us after to explain why you did some of what you did, but don't just tip your cards for no reason.
