Hearing MLSE president/CEO Tim Leiweke will be leaving the company soon. (1/2)

Not sure of where he's going, but hearing the reason is he is looking for a new challenge.

Looking for a new challenge? The Leafs, the Raptors and TFC isn't a big enough challenge?

I'm completely baffled.

EDIT:

Leiweke denied the rumors:

James Mirtle ‏@mirtle
Tim Leiweke denies he's going anywhere: "Any report stating that I am leaving MLSE is untrue."

James Mirtle ‏@mirtle
Leiweke: "I am proud of all that we have accomplished here over the past year, but we have much more to do."

EDIT2:

Tim Leiweke signed a two-year non-compete with his previous employer AEG. Once two years are up, he'll go elsewhere, I'm told.

He better leave that map of the parade route with someone on his way out.

The guy signs David Clarkson and takes off. What a joke.

Good riddance. What a loser. Not even 2 years and he's out already, what a giant loser.

"looking for a new challenge" is a very generic reason, I'd wager that there was more to it than that.

Re @FriedgeHNIC reporting Leiweke leaving MLSE been hearing also. This could be a health issue; he's sick of them and they're sick of him.

Ouch.
