  1. Despite the Red Wings going 6-1-1 since the All-Star break and picking up 13 of a possible 16 points the Wings have not been able to gain on the teams above or below them in the standings. The Sharks, Kings, and Ducks have all been equally hot since the break and the Jckets are making a charge after having acquired Brodeur.
It appears Detroit may have a wounded Wing however as Gary Roberts has been lost to injury for up to a month and a half. With the Team already being thin on the LW this is an injury that the team can ill afford and so fans are hoping that GM Niece will act quickly to find an injury replacement.
GM Niece has not been seen in public much lately and has been declining all requests from the Media to comment on the team or what potential moves he may be looking to make. Only time will tell.

look on the bright side Drew, now you can enjoy your 6-1-1 run without having to worry about what others are thinking

still...it's not like you're gaining ground :banghead:

  4. It's 7-1-1 now

You are absolutely right though, it is very nice to be winning and not wonder what others are thinking.
Now all I have to do is catch those annoying Blues who are so blatently trying to buy the cup :p:
