I feel like we'd get a fair bit more if we moved those pieces separately. Maybe I'm out to lunch.
I suppose it's fine from a Flames perspective. Andersson is worth a bit more than 10OA, Markstrom is worth Holtz. Mangiapane at his full hit is slightly negative value. Gotta think Ottawa doesn't like it though.

Andersson is worth 10OA easily in this draft. I think the trade proposed is fair to Calgary. Ottawa is the team that won't like it.

Don't think the whole Devils package gets you Brady Tkachuk by himself. Holtz and Foote have really done nothing to date.

Previous trade proposals had nothing between Calgary and Ottawa. This has a lot.

Can't see Ottawa trading Brady for that package:
- no 1st round Pick equivalents.
- $10.35+M AAV for just RA and AM
- Nolan Foote, now waivers vulnerable, but still unproven at NHL level, has limited value and Ott has comparable guys
- Mangiapane has one those deadly over-priced contracts "earned" after the guy's single star-class season

Makes me think of what a Hughes - Tkachuk trade would look like. Forget about probability. I'm thinking just from a hockey trade/value perspective. I think Ottawa would have to add, but how much? Hughes is the better player signed to the better contract for longer term but Brady is just so unique a player and fantastic in his own right. Great scorer, tough as nails, draws penalties, work and drive second to none. Would #7 get it done? a little less? a little more?
ONCE AGAIN JUST FOR THE MENTAL EXERCISE OF DETERMINING THEIR PROPORTIONATE VALUE. NOT PROPOSING A TRADE OR DISCUSSING WHETHER EITHER TEAM WOULD DO IT.

NJ needs to fix things quickly . Habs could offer help right now for future Habs : Chariot + Drouin + Armia + Ylonen for NJ Holtz + Mercer
i think you underestimate rasmus anderson by a wide margin, if you think your offer for hughes is a comparable.
I actually do not think this is bad for Calgary, but I think Mangiapane is overpaid.
I think Ottawa loses big and New Jersey makes out like bandits.
