Thought about bloodlines and drafting

We all know that a player's bloodlines can have a very positive influence on their draft position, even when it doesn't seem to be warranted (i.e. Jared Staal, possibly Brandon Sutter and Colton Gillies). But what I've been thinking about is what if a player has a family history of busting at the pro level. Will that hurt him in the eyes of scouts? The only situation I could think of where this might have played a factor is with Adam Henrich a few years back. His brother Michael was a highly touted EDM pick that could barely play in the AHL, and Adam ended up falling slightly in his draft year, but was still taken pretty high. Coincidentally (or not?) he's looking like a bust as well. Just a thought.

I don't know exactly where things ended up but what about "the great one" and his brothers Keith and Brent... thoughts?

Well Gretzy certainly didn't bust, so Keith and Brent would fall into the former category if they were drafted high, which I'm not sure if they were.
