Matthews is the better player, and he’s started to pick it up, but he doesn’t look like himself of the past couple years. Thompson is going crazy rn so it’s pretty easily debatable that Thompson is better than him this season.

However, even with Matthews looking at a down year, I would not swap him for Thompson. AM34 can turn his season around pretty easily with a hot stretch
