No Al Strachan on the list, I see... that explains why he was taking more shots at the league office in today's article.

Wait... he does that every article...

Curious no one from MLSE is on there...
Pat Quinn is on there. Ken Dryden would have probably been on there in past years. JFJ isn't experienced or outspoken enough to make the list and the less said about Richard Peddie the better.

Well, Everybody Loves Hypnotoad has been going downhill since Season 3, so maybe that's why.

Another Canadian BIASED report... and I'm Canadian even. The list is a joke in several ways but I only have time at the moment to point out two:

Power and influence? Maybe with the kiddies and marginal fan.

Where the heck is Glen Sather??, president and general manager of the New York Rangers, the most watched team in professional hockey (and I am NOT a NYR fan). He could trade Jagr in a heartbeat. The guy is all hockey on many levels and he doesn't crack the top 100 in power and influence yet a bunch of yahoos make the list and players like Kovalchuk is rated high, why? he might throw another tantrum? I don't get it. POWER and INFLUENCE... how do they define that?

Two thumbs down.

Dreger has many NHL sources and breaks most of the stories for Sportsnet

Ummm you do know that it's Scott Morrison that actully breaks a lot of the stories through whomever he knows.
Few surprising people left off the list.
